Upgrading to the Gold Version

MeidaMonkey is free for personal use, however, you can upgrade to Song-DB Gold, for a very small fee. Some of the added features included with MediaMonkey Gold are:

• File Monitor - With the File Monitor, any time you modify, add, move, or delete a music file within specified directories, your Library is automatically updated. This saves you from having to manually add new files, search for moved files, and update the database based on changes to files that were cause by other applications.
• Virtual CD - allows you to catalog Tracks that appear in both your physical CD collection and your MP3 collection, saving the hassle of duplicate database entries.
• Advanced AutoPlaylists - Although basic AutoPlaylists are supported in the standard version, creation and customization of advanced AutoPlaylists is only available if you upgrade to the Gold version. With advanced AutoPlaylists, you can define a playlist based on any criteria, allowing you to create automatically create mixes that suit your needs. For example, if you wanted music for a party, you could have an AutoPlaylist that includes 100 Songs in which Bitrate>=128 Kbps, Tempo= fast/veryfast, Year=1990-2000, Rating>=4 stars, Genre=Rock. Advanced AutoPlaylists are also especially useful for synchronizing with a Portable device.
